It was a very special day for a very special boy. To me, his grandmother, it was especially poignant because it was my birthday too and I can't think of a better birthday gift than to know that my children are so faithfully teaching their children to embrace the beautiful principles of life taught by the Savior. Thank you Mason for being baptized on this day! On March 7th, Mike and Traci's baby girl, Emberlyn Lois Weston, was given her name and a very special blessing by her loving father, Michael J. Weston. We are so happy that they are actually here in Utah so we could all be there for the special occasion!! It was a wonderful day and we are so in awe of this beautiful little baby and her safe arrival. Mike and Traci are doing a beautiful job of creating a loving home for their two darling little girls, Ellanie and Emberlyn. Although there were members of our family who couldn't be there, we felt their love and testimonies across the miles. We had the Grandson party a long time ago (and it was a blast!) but we didn't have the granddaughter party until recently! I did it with Zoey and Jaisa and we had a really fun time! All of the ideas they sent were fantastic and so much fun!!! If any of you ever need ideas for a party, now you know who to call!!! Every one of his brothers and sisters and his parents were there with him to open the letter signed by President Gordon B. Hinckley to issue his call. Joni and Brian weren't there in person, but they were listening intently on the phone!!! He will be going to the MTC on November 14, which is only in 7 weeks!! We all know that Jake will be a great missionary. He has prepared himself all of his life to be able to do this, and now the time has finally arrived. We all look up to Jake and admire his strength of both body and spirit!
